1989 Legend LS Coupe
Stolen November 8, 1998
My Legend was blue over silver with blue leather interior. It had a glass power moon roof. The windows were tinted and it had a modified Bose sound system. The windows, locks, mirrors, and seats were electric. It had power rack and pinion steering and four wheel disc ABS brakes. The engine was a fuel injected 2.7 litre V6 backed by a four speed auto trans that can run three speed auto with a manual overdrive.
To personalize the car, I added MSW wheels with the center spokes painted to match the bottom trim. I machined the center caps on a lathe to install Acura logos. The car was lowered just over an inch using a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs and the bumps are handled with Tokico gas struts. With the help of a design engineer from Pace Setter and a local exhaust shop, the exhaust was handled through a custom setup using an off the shelf TFX muffler and 3 inch tips. The rear wing was a universal OEM replica with a 60 led brake light from Maxum. It used Metal Master brake pads to help her slow it down. The future held a set of 16 inch MHT M5 wheels.
