Trim one lead of a 1.27K ohm 1/4 watt carbon composition resistor to about 1/4".
Attach the long lead to the upper hole of termial 17.
Attach the short lead to terminal A6 so the body of the resistor is very close to A6.
Solder terminal A6, but Do Not Solder terminal 17.
