Cut a 12-1/2" lenght of shielded twisted pair. Strip the outer jacket on one end back 1/2", prep the cable and
cut the drain wire flush with the outer jacket. Strip the jacket on the other end back 3-1/4" and prep this end
of the cable by trimming 1" off the red wire only and stipping the red and black wires back 1/4". Do not cut the drain wire.

Using the end of te cable prepped to 1/2", attach the black wire to the center terminal of the power switch.
Attach the red wire to the outside terminal of the power switch. Solder both terminals carefully to not melt the plastic.
