Cut a 7" length of Teflon twisted pair and strip back the ends.
Attach one wire to the lowest terminal closest to the volume poteniometer.Use your DMM to find the other end of that wire.
Route the twisted pair over to the center of the chassis, under the shielded input wiring and back to terminal 10.
