Note on the following section I used braided shield twisted pair wire in place of the grey jacketed wire found in the kit.
The only difference in the instruction for me was using the shield in place of the drain wire for soldering.

INPUT WIRING : Right Channel

Cut a 3-1/4" lenght of shield twiste pair. Prep the cable 1/2" at both ends and strip the ends of the black and red wires 1/2".
Twist the black wire and the drain wire together at one end. Attach these twisted wires to the top hole of terminal 18 and solder.
Attach the red wire to the top hole of terminal 19. Do not solder this terminal yet.
