Custom Roksan Radius 5

I started by laying out the original Roksan Radius 5 parts and sticking them down with double sided carpet tape.
A few cuts to separate the individual pieces and then some router time to duplicate.

Here is the base plinth before final routing and the finished pieces.
The base with the metal threaded inserts done.

Now the spikes added. The motor pod routed to fit the electronics and placed on the base plinth.

Here is the platter plinth showing the rubber mounts. Then right side up and the RB251 (rewired with silver) mounted.

Everything test fitted and mounted. Then all taken back a part for several coats of Liberon Finishing Oil.

The finished table and a rear shot showing the addition of a connection block.

When setting up the Rega Exact cartridge I found the tonearm didn't rotate easily. I removed the arm and took it apart.
I sanded the pivot shaft with some 600 grit paper and oil, so the bottom bearing wouldn't bind when the retaining nut was tightened.

The table feeds into a Wright Sound WPP200C and Final Labs Music-3 tube amp (the only one ever made).
